The story
Frosty is a dynamic POS that adapts to the business running it: quick service or full service, barcode scanner or manual entry — the same platform reconfigures for a fast-food counter, a supermarket lane, or a sit-down restaurant.
It comes with its own cashier’s terminal: thousands of menu items filtered by category, one-tap quantities, and a live receipt that stays honest at rush hour. Behind the counter, admins get business-wide statistics, managers get per-location controls, and kitchens get their own order screens.
Sales stream into the dashboard in real time, with paid/unpaid states and per-location filtering. And because Frosty pairs with TastyPlan — our supply-chain ERP — every sale it rings up doubles as a live inventory signal for replenishment.
The React front end is driven by a NodeJS API over PostgreSQL, designed so a new location comes online with configuration, not code.
